Twice a recipient of the Southern Texas PGA Media/PR Award, Jim Apfelbaum has reported from the Ryder Cup, U.S. Open, British
Open and the Masters. As senior writer for AOL's iGOLF, Jim created the popular Swizzle Stick G&CC. Golf World has
singled out his travel writing as "The stuff no one else has." The book Golf on the Web cited his humor and commentary as
"The best of the bunch." He is immediate past president of the Texas Golf Writers Association. His sixth book, 'Golf Unplugged,'
a series of historical and humorous essays, will be published in 2007 by Tatra Press.
Jim additionally hosts the longest-running show on sports market leader KVET-AM in Austin. Golftexas.com named That's Golf!
